The past year was very difficult for us here at the Freedom Isn't Free ride Foundation. In addition to COVID last year we regretfully announce the loss of our biggest benecfactress Dr. Nicole Xavier Cauvin. THrough the struggles that have come with that loss we have continued to reach out to our homeless veterans, both during lock down and after, to assit them in securing appropriate housing which meets their needs as well as providing food, nessecities and referals during the pandemic crisis which is still with us.

The only major event we held in 2020 was the charity motorcycle ride, the Freedom Isn't Free ride, which was held with masking and social distancing guideline enforcement and was a tremendous success. The Christmas tree giveaway for veterans and active duty also took place, as it was more relevant and important than ever during 2020, and it was a huge success.

We've struggled through 2021 but held our signature event, the Freedom Isn't Free ride in August as usual. The event was a smashing success with on of our largest crowds to date. We still observed masking and social distancing guidelines. We look forward to next year's event. This year's Christmas tree giveaway is off to a wonderful start today at St. Pius X church in Fairfield, CT and ends tomorrow at 6pm. It looks to be a wonderful success as in years past.

Next Saturday, 11 December, a dinner with Santa is expected to take off at St. Pius X church. THe cost is $15 per person $20 per family, children under 10 are free. The event begins at 6:30pm in the community room. A lovely meal will be served, a respite from the hustle and bustle and Santa will make an appearance around 8:30pm with a bag full of gifts for every boy and girl. Reservations are due by Monday 7 December and must include the name, age and gender of children to ensure Santa has a gift for everyone. Reservations can be made by contacting Russell Edgett at RussellJ.Edgett@gmail.com. It promises to be a grand time.

Thank you to all our supporters and all those who helped out through this very difficult time. We couldn't have succeed without you. Merry Christmas to all.

Thank a veteran for your freedoms from the heart, stand for those who have stood for you and still sacrifice for you.

Merry Christmas everyone!!!!!See you in 2022!!
